Jungo is the world’s rarest and cutest animal. Sweet, soft and affectionate – and more than a little cheeky, playful and mischievous. And with a huge appetite for fruit, sweet things and adventures. But this unique jungle animal is constantly threatened by fanatical collectors, and always on the run from greedy and grasping bounty hunters, who want to capture Jungo and exploit him for their own selfish ends. It’s all a matter of money. Lots of money. Jungo is extremely rare, after all. Jungo and his good friend, Rita the fox, lead a carefree life on a scenic Danish island. They think they have found a safe haunt at the house of Meatball Mickey, the ship’s cook. Mickey spends his time happily serving his speciality – warm meatballs – to the two friends. But there are dark clouds on the horizon: The crafty Dr. Sturmdrang and the dangerous Professor Strix are looking for the rare jungle animal, whom they want to catch and transport to the eccentric multi-millionaire General Maximus. The General has offered a huge reward for the jungle animal, as he wants to use Jungo as an emblem and a mascot for his newly-established country – Junglandia – which is located in the middle of the South American jungle. Donna Prima, the world-famous fashion diva and media star, is also looking for Jungo. She wants to use him to promote a new perfume, whose exotic aroma is derived from the rare jungle flowers growing wild in Junglandia.
