Professor Thomas Bradley (Billy Zane) takes his 12 year-old daughter, Serena (Amber Savva) to the Greek Island of Spetses, where he hopes to find a breakthrough in his study on ancient love spells. When Serena meets the beautiful Nereid (Kelly Brook) she thinks she’s perfect for her recently-widowed father. The only flaw in her matchmaking is the tricky problem of Nereid being a mermaid and on the run from the evil Captain Mavros (Alki David), a fisherman intent on killing her for her glorious jewel-encrusted tail.
